Even twenty years after his death, tribute bands all over the world keep Phil Lynott and Thin Lizzy alive!

Belgium also has its Thin Lizzy tribute band: PHIL T LIZZY.

September 2005 it was, when bassplayer FRANK VERDIER placed an ad on the internet, wondering if there would be any other Belgian musicians who’ld be interested in playing the music of Thin Lizzy.  He was surprised about the many reactions and amongst these were those of vocalist VITAL BARBAROTTA, drummer RIK VOLKAERTS and guitar players TOM PEETERS and TJENNE BERGHMANS.  They were invited for a first session which proofed that they shared the same spirit and enthousiasm.  After six months of intensive rehearsing, PHIL T LIZZY was ready for a first try-out concert.  Soon after that, shows in clubs and at festivals in Belgium, Holland and Germany followed.

These expierienced musicians are bringing you a dynamic and energetic show, a complete version of the legendary live LP/CD “Live and Dangerous” as well as a selection of their favourite songs from all the Thin Lizzy studio albums.

 

One thing is sure: PHIL T LIZZY keeps the spirit of THIN LIZZY alive!!
